Program Aide Day Camp Gear List
Everything except daypack items and sleeping gear should fit into a single bag.

Sleeping gear:
  • Sleeping bag and extra blanket
  • pillow

Clothing and gear:
  • 3-4 pair jeans/shorts
  • 4-5 shirts/tanks (must comply with school dress code)
  • sweatshirt/Hoodie
  • raincoat/rain gear
  • pajamas
  • socks and underwear
  • creek walking shoes (with closed toe and heel)
  • extra tennis shoes or hiking boots
  • flip flops/shower shoes
  • towel and washcloth    
  • watch (a watch is required--do NOT plan on using your cell phone) 
  • Mess kit (plate, cup, eating utensils in a dunk bag)   

Toiletries:
  • soap and shampoo
  • brush and comb
  • hair ties if your hair is shoulder length or longer
  • deodorant
  • toothbrush, toothpaste, floss
  • lotion
  • hair ties
  • personal hygiene items if needed

Daypack--a small backpack containing the following:
  • refillable water bottle
  • bandana
  • flashlight with extra batteries
  • insect repellant
  • sunscreen
  • pens/pencils and paper
  • PA notebook (a 3 ring binder if you are a first year)
  • songbooks
  • reusable lunch bag +/- reusable containers 

Optional items (for use during free time only)
  • small ice chest or metal tin containing any personal snacks or munchies
    (NO FOOD will be allowed in the roost)
  • camera
  • iPod/MP3 player w/ ear buds
  • book
  • stuffed animal
  • recreational activities

YOU AND ONLY YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BELONGINGS.  CAMP EVERGREEN STAFF AND GSWW ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, BROKEN, OR MISSING ITEMS.  THERE IS NOTHING TO BUY AT CAMP EVERGREEN, SO PLEASE DON'T BRING MONEY.

Cell reception is extremely limited at camp.  WE RECOMMEND YOU LEAVE YOUR CELL PHONE AT HOME!!! ALL electronics may be held by leaders except during scheduled free time.  Any electronics misused will be held until Saturday.  Bring electronics at your own risk. 

Do NOT bring items to be used as practical jokes or pranks.
